Book launch - Presse francophone en Afrique de l'Ouest: Expériences et Réflections de pionniers
A new book, written by Gérard Guèdègbé and titled Presse francophone en Afrique de l'Ouest: Expérieneces et Réflections de pionniers, discusses the history of journalism in West Africa.
The book, which also celebrates some of the region's pioneers, tells the story through the eyes of nine revered veterans from six countries: Bénin, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinée, Mali, Sénégal and Togo. An event co-hosted by KAS Media Africa and KAS Abidjan - with journalists, academics and other actors in attendance - will mark the launch of the book.
