In collaboration with Rhodes University, Grahamstown/RSA, the KAS Media Programme provides technical and financial support for the participants to the 2004 Highway Africa Conference on Internet Journalism.

Each year more than 200 journalists from all over Africa use this unique opportunity to learn about the latest news on the online sector, to exchange views und to network.

The conference provides insight in new developments in that area, presents itself as a platform for ethical and political discussions surrounding internet journalism, but is also designed to the practical needs of internet journalists.
