In cooperation with the Sol Plaatje Instute of Rhodes Universität the KAS Media Programme will it's 3rd KAS Media Management Conference. Core issue of this years' confrence will be strategic planning, corporate identity and corporate ethics.

For the 3rd time the KAS Media Programme in cooperation with the Sol Plaatje Institute für Media Leadership will hold it's annual international Media Management Conference.

Media managers and media oweners from at least 10 countries will gather in Maputo for three days to discuss all aspects around the topic "Strategies and Policies for Media Viability in Africa." Experts and paricipants will share their experiences, discuss developments and their visions for the future.

Last years' topic at the conferende in Capetown was „Media Convergence: World Trends and Options for Africa“. 24 media owners and managers from ten countries engaged in intense discussions around the topic. Technical standards as well as strategic and ethical challenges of the multimedia future were discussed.
