Details

Around 200 leading journalists, editors-in-chief, associations’ members, members of international organizations and media experts from 20 different countries are expected at the forum this year. The conference will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Serbia, Mirko Cvetkovic (see Program under “Topic”).

The SEEMF takes place annually since 2007 and aims primary to strengthen the exchange of ideas and the establishment of networks among media people in the region. Considering the worldwide financial and economic crisis, which had a massive impact on media business in South East Europe, and the resistant media freedom and media plurality deficits, this year’s forum promises to be very exciting.

The SEEMF is organized by the Media Program South East Europe of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in cooperation with the South East Europe Media Organization (SEEMO) and the Central European Initiative (CEI).
