The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning (FMFBNP) are organizing a capacity building workshop for all the Permanent Secretaries of the ministries of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
KAS in partnership with the FMFBNP will be bringing all the Permanent Secretaries in a capacity building on national and economic development. In this seminar the focal point will be on successful implementation of national and economic development plans including the reasons for past success and failures. Amongst the topics to be covered are therefore: History and Trajectory of Development Planning in Nigeria; Perspectives and Challenges in Nigeria, Understanding the Concept of Critical Thinking and Progressive Governance in Implementing National Development Plans; Emotional Intelligence and Problem Solving, Conflict Management; Succession Planning, Strategies and Objective Settings in the Federal Civil Service; and Good Governance and the Imperative for Managing Sustainability. The seminar is part of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung’s support to democracy, rule of law and good governance in Nigeria.
