Details
The training workshop which will hold in Jos, Plateau State will have participants who are officers drawn mainly from operations, peace and conflict resolution departments from the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Air Force, Nigeria Police, Department of State Services, and the NSCDC from Benue, Nasarawa and Plateau States.
The key objective of the workshop is to build the capacity of the officers on best practices for fostering interagency collaboration and conflict resolution including strategies for enhancing operational effectiveness, adherence to standard operations procedures, effective leadership, and approaches for effective coordination. The workshop also aims at promoting trust, confidence, information sharing and coordinated surveillance among personnel of security agencies through active learning, presentations, case studies, role plays, audio-visual aids, and scenario analysis.
Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) has garnered an array of seasoned experts in security sector reform to facilitate several subject areas including interagency cooperation and conflict resolution, leadership and interagency cooperation in complex military situations, law enforcement and internal security, emotional intelligence and interpersonal relationships, rule of law, ethics and professionalism, responsibility to protect among others.
