Workshop
Details
The key objective of the training workshop is to build the capacity of the officers on best practices for fostering interagency collaboration and conflict resolution, including strategies for enhancing operational effectiveness, adherence to standard procedures, leadership, approaches for effective coordination and relationship with other stakeholders. The workshop also aims at promoting trust, confidence, information sharing and coordinated surveillance among personnel of security agencies through active learning, presentations, case studies, role plays, audio-visual aids, and scenario analysis. Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) is engaging seasoned experts in security sector reform to facilitate several subject areas including the politics of interagency cooperation, conflict management and resolution, leadership and interagency collaboration in complex military situations, law enforcement and internal security, emotional intelligence and interpersonal relationships, rule of law, ethics and professionalism, responsibility to protect among others. The seminar is part of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung’s support to the Security Sector Reform in Nigeria. This program is funded by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
