Interagency Collaboration among Security Agencies in the South-South Zone
Support to the SSR
Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), is cooperating with Nigeria’s House of Representatives’ Committee on Army, and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to organize a four-day training workshop for middle-level officers of security agencies in the South-South geo-political zone. The workshop aims at promoting interagency collaboration and conflict resolution among security agencies.
The objective of the training workshop is to build the capacity of the officers on best practices, including strategies for enhancing operational effectiveness, adherence to standard procedures, leadership and conflict resolution skills, and the need for interagency collaboration. The workshop would be the last of the three workshops that KAS would organize for the South-South zone in 2021. This workshop is part of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung’s support to the Security Sector Reform in Nigeria and it is funded by the Federal Republic of Germany.
