Details
The training which will hold in Port Harcourt, will have participants who are officers drawn mainly from operations, peace and conflict resolution departments from the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, Nigeria Police, Department of State Services, and the NSCDC from Bayelsa, Delta, and Rivers States.Through the training workshop, KAS is building the capacity of the field operations officers to imbibe the principles and practice of interagency collaboration and conflict resolution. Participants would be exposed to several area including strategies for enhancing effectiveness in joint operations, adherence to standard operating procedures, team building and effective cooperation. The workshop uses best practices for fostering active learning including presentations, case studies, role plays, audio-visual aids, and scenario analysis to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of the knowledge they acquire.
Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) has continually delivered impactful training by engaging erudite experts in security sector reform to facilitate in the several subject areas including interagency cooperation and conflict resolution, collaborative investigation and prosecution, stress management, emotional intelligence, interpersonal relationship, rule of law, ethics and professionalism, among others. The seminar is part of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung’s support to the Security Sector Reform in Nigeria. This program is funded by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
