Interagency Collaboration and Cooperation between Security Agencies and Citizens in Kano, Katsina and kaduna States
Support to the SSR
Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) in cooperation with Nigeria’s House of Representatives’ Committee on Army is organizing a dialogue on inter-agency collaboration and cooperation among security agencies as well as civilian citizens, for heads of security agencies and leaders of civil society groups in the North-West geo-political zone.
This is a follow-up seminar and would focus on evaluating progress made on interventions towards the collaboration among state and non-state actors in the security management in Nigeria. It would also discuss efforts towards curbing insecurity challenges in the North-West Zone. Participants would review and analyse lessons learned. They would also outline measures towards sustainable cooperation, collaboration and coordination between agencies as well as with civilian citizens. The seminar is part of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung’s support to the Security Sector Reform in Nigeria. A programme funded by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
