Workshop
Details
As a way of equipping the military and other security agencies with peace-keeping and conflict analysis skills, Konrad Adenauer in partnership with the Impact for Change and Development organized a workshop between the 9th and 13th of May 2016. The event which was held in Lagos had Army officers, Naval officers, Air force Officers, NSCDC officers and other security agencies in attendance.
The workshop was handled by Dr. Naomi Akpan-Ita and other resource persons from the Nigerian Army. Dr. Akpan-Ita lectured on topics like peace-keeping, peace-building, human rights, communications and conflict management. Tasks were also given to participants who used Nigerian examples as case studies. The Konrad Adenauer Stiftung has organized workshops and seminars with NACOL for close to 14 years.
