Details
The aim and objective of this partner workshop was to bring the partners together to share ideas on the progress of 2015 and to plan for 2016. The partners presented their activities in 2015 and made suggestions about new activities for 2016, so that other partners and KAS can align their activities in the new year.
In the second part of this workshop KAS staff presented all the activities for the year 2016 with suggested dates to make planning possible for partners, when they juxtapose their activities and time with other partners.
Latest developments in the accounting necessities and writing of reports by the partners for future projects were also briefly presented as a reminder for the partners.
Participants included Ogun and Plateau States Houses of Assembly, represented by the Clerks and Deputy Clerks, Cross River State House of Assembly, represented by two honourable Members, Hon. Ita Abang and Hon. Hillary Bisong, IMPACT for Change from Lagos, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Centre for Human Development and Social Transformation from Port Harcourt, NOSAD Calabar, COMPPART from Uyo, Prof. Tajudeen Akanji from University of Ibadan and JDPC- Jos.
The workshop enhanced the stability on the planning of programs for KAS and underlined the necessity of monitoring and evaluation activities by partners when implementing programs in cooperation with KAS.
