Details
Nigeria with about 200million citizens and the biggest economy in Africa should be among the leading nations in the continent championing the march of digitalization in all sectors. To be able to do this, Nigeria needs to create an enabling environment for the new digital economy through legal, educational, commercial and financial frameworks among others. This symposium shall look at some of these issues.
The keynote speech will be delivered by Mr. Chika Nwobi, Founder, L5Lab, followed by two panel discussions. The first panel discussion will include inputs from selected founders of start-ups iNigeria like Solape Hammond, co-founder and CEO of Impact Hub; Obinna Ukwuani, founder, BrĂ¼k Oil Mills and Dr. Amina Sambo-Magaji, National Coordinator, Office for ICT Innovation and Entrepreneurship (OIIE). Taking part in the second panel discussion are international donor agencies in Nigeria like the GIZ, World Bank, DFID, JICA and the KOICA.
