Details
In line with the electoral culture and tradition in Nigeria, every general election is preceded by an amendment to the existing Electoral Act to cope with problems identified in previous election and prepare for the coming election. Only the general elections in 2015 did not have any serious amendment to the Electoral Act. The amendment bill sent to President Muhammadu Buhari was denied assent, and experts shall throw more light on the issues raised by the executive and suggest recommendations with the participants.
