The event will take place on May 16th in Copenhagen and will focus on trends in globalization concern in Denmark, France and Germany and differences across these countries that help to account for variation in globalization support.

Centrist political parties in Denmark, France and Germany have fended off challenges from political movements with skeptical globalization views.

Experts from the three countries will offer perspectives on how key political parties plan to address globalization concerns in their political programs and what challenges they face in doing so.

Speakers of the seminar will be:

Erik Lundsgaarde, Senior Researcher, Danish Institute for International Studies (DIIS)

Per Kongshøj Madsen, Professor Emeritus, Centre for Labour Market Research (CARMA), Department of Political Science, Aalborg University; Chair of the Economic Council of the Labour Movement
