Details
The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), in cooperation with the VMRO-DPMNE Women's Union, organises the three-day online workshop "Women in Local Politics – For More Gender-Sensitive and Women-Friendly Policies on the Local Self-Government’s Agenda".
The initiative will gather active women politicians from the VMRO-DPMNE Women's Union who will jointly discuss possibilities for developing and implementing more gender-sensitive local policies. Experiences from Germany and Europe will also be shared and further developed.
The event will be opened by Daniel Braun, Official Representative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in North Macedonia. Welcoming addresses will be given by Hristijan Mickoski, President of VMRO-DPMNE, Doris Pack, President of EPP Women, and Zhaklina Peshevska, President of VMRO-DPMNE Women's Union. A contribution to the topic will also be given by Dorothea Storch, Mayor of Dornburg-Camburg (CDU).
The workshop will be facilitated by Marija Risteska from the Center for Research and Policy Making CRPM and Ana Krstinovska from the Association for strategy development, research, education and promotion of international values ESTIMA.
