The Council Meeting included over forty guests from 22 different nations, among them the President and Secretary-General of EDS, as well as several board members from the organization. All of the participants represent future leaders of their political parties and student organizations.

The key focus of the event was on three crucial issues: 1. Entrepreneurship; 2. Stimulating economic growth; and 3. The role of education in development. Crucial focus was put on these affairs when the delegates met with Macedonian policy-makers, as well as academics. Through a wide range of panels and forums, the delegates had the opportunity to discuss and exchange ideas with politicians and academics from their host country.

During the Council Meeting itself, the agenda brought forward several motions, which focus on stimulating growth through youth policies, as well as current political issues such as the migrant crisis. These motions were forwarded to the EPP Political Group after the event.

This event provided the opportunity for future leaders from all around Europe to learn more about their host country and its role within the European continent. Furthermore, the productive discussions which took place provide a basis for developing future relations with the EDS and its member organizations, all with the goal of building a stronger, and more inclusive European future.
