The significance of the Holy Books in building coexistence

On November 26th, the project "Interreligious Classroom" took place. The event was organized by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in close cooperation with the Faculty of Orthodox Theology "St. Clement of Ohrid” and the Faculty of Islamic Sciences from Skopje.

We started with a study visit to the “Isak-beg” Mosque where Prof. Dr. Abdulxhemil Nesimi gave his introduction on the topic “Introducing Islam through the Holy Book, the Quran”.

Then we continued with a study visit to the Church “St. Spas” where we discussed “Christianity and the Meaning of the Holy Scripture, the Bible” with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Darko Anev.

During the visits, the students had the opportunity to increase their contacts and at the same time actively participated in the discussion.
