Details
Baader consist of more than one hundred students and representatives of youth organizations chosen due to their high potential, social engagement and leadership skills.
It aims at promoting the role of the youth in the democratic process, to develop the youths' leadership skills in decision-making, to reduce gender-related barriers and to assist in the building of a pluralistic and viable Palestinian civil society.
Members of BYC are given the opportunity to develop their individual capacities through various training programs.
The project aspires at generating a strong youth leadership able to translate the needs and demands of the youth into the political agenda. It is an endeavor to give a sense of ownership of program decisions that affect youths' life and future, and to channel the enormous energy of the youth in a constructive and highly productive manner.
The launching ceremony of Baader Youth Council will take place on September 21st, 2006 at Salem Effendi in Ramallah.
