COVID-19 has had not only health and social effects in Latin American countries, but also economic consequences. Since the beginning of the crisis, CEPAL has been a key player in the analysis and monitoring of the pandemic in the various countries of the region.
In this interview we talk to Alicia Bárcena, Executive Secretary of CEPAL, about "The socio-economic impact of COVID-19 in Latin America".
