Second Roundtable Meeting
The second session of the "Libya Proxy War Network" initiative by the Rome Office of the European Council on Foreign Relations, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Regional Program Political Dialogue South Mediterranean of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung will follow on the most recent developments in Libya and build up on the discussion of the first meeting that took place in October already.
The second session will allow the participants to discuss a total of 18 guiding questions in the realm of the current achievements of the political, economic and security tracks in the Libyan mediation process and the role of the European Union in theses regards. Particiants are asked to present their respective perspectives as foreign actors that play some role in the Libyan dynamic in order to better understand the current situation of foreign entities and their positions in the Libyan file. This format is a closed circle of participants that enables open exchange on the most pressing issues and likely scenarios for the future to come. The "Libya Proxy War Network" initiative will continue to meet in the coming year and addresses the respective current situations in Libya.
