Workshop
Details
The workshop is devoted to areas of the European Union foreign policy, focusing on the Eastern Partnership and European Neighborhood Policy. The intent of the workshop is to bring together emerging young political and social leaders as well as civil and non-governmental representatives who are eager to shape the future of diplomacy.
The week-long workshop is filled with 40 hours of lectures, seminars, study visits and simulations! The combination of theory and practice allows participants to build upon their current knowledge of the EU and its regional characteristics. Participants will also be invited to share their experiences, exchange thoughts and ideas, deliberate critical questions and gain insight into the future of European diplomacy. This is a great opportunity for both professional and personal development!
We have arranged meetings with top-level EU officials and diplomats. This year participants will have the opportunity to meet with H.E. Mary Robinson, Irish lawyer, politician, and diplomat who served as president of Ireland (1990–97) and as United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (UNHCHR; 1997–2002) and Dr. Patrycja Sasnal, Ph.D., Political Scientist, Fulbright Scholar, Associate Researcher at the American University of Beirut (Lebanon) and Lecturer at Jagiellonian University (Cracow).
