The Democratic Union of Africa (DUA) in partnership with KAS Political Dialogue for Sub-Saharan Africa programme is hosting its annual forum from the 26th to the 29th of April 2023. The theme for this year forum is “Discovering New Dimensions of Cooperation: A Collective Responsibility Towards Africa’s Development”. The opening ceremony will start with a key note address delivered by H.E. Dr. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the President of the Republic of Ghana. Furthermore, Rt Hon. Stephen J. Harper, 22nd Prime Minister of Canada and Chairman of IDU will also be delivering a remark, followed by the Co-Chair of DUA, namely Rt. Hon. Louisa Atta-Agyemang and Rt. Hon. Freeman Mbowe. Lastly, the special Guest of Honour, Hon. V. F. Hlabisa (president, Inkatha Freedom Party) will be handling gift to the president of Ghana as well as the head of KAS PolDiSSA, Dr. Holger Dix.
The rest of the event will see delegates of DUA, who are all center right parties exchanges on various topics ranging from the nexus between shared values and policies, African European Relations and more.
