The "Leaders for Justice BiH," a group of young Bosnian lawyers, recently completed a transformative study visit to Berlin from May 13th to 17th, 2024. Their itinerary was packed with enriching experiences, starting with insightful sessions at the KAS Academy where they learned about the Konrad Adenauer Foundation's Rule of Law Programmes and gained a deeper understanding of the German legal system.
The visit entailed engaging dialogues at the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the German Federal Ministry of Justice, offering invaluable insights into international relations and the commitment to upholding the rule of law.
Additionally, visits to the Office of Criminal Investigations of the Police and the city's criminal and civil courts provided profound insights into maintaining public safety and order and engaged the participants in discussions with esteemed German judges and prosecutors.
Beyond legal exchange, the visit delved into Germany's culture of remembrance and societal values, providing invaluable lessons that transcend legal frameworks.
