The Rule of Law Programme for the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), in collaboration with SEEDS for Legal Initiatives, is delighted to invite you to attend the full-day conference “She in the Rule of Law and Sustainability.” This conference will take place at Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace on Wednesday, September 13.

This event, consisting of three consecutive panels, will discuss the role of women in the rule of law and sustainable developments in the MENA, with a primary emphasis on Gender Equality (UN Sustainable Development Goal -SDG- 5), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8), and Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (SDG 16). The conference aims to promote women’s empowerment, economic participation, access to justice and legal protection of women.

The panels will address the various current challenges women face in the aforementioned topics and will provide a platform for regional and international experts to exchange their views and experiences in the MENA region.
