The flagship “Young Leaders” series of courses is the most successful Robert Schuman Institute project, implemented with the continuous support of Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation and Eduardo Frei Foundation, offering a balanced, thoughtfully developed and constantly evolving 3 full working weeks agenda to our younger EPP party members, and providing them with meaningful and relevant political education. The objective of the 27th edition of the series is to develop the potential of political youth in emerging democracies, and help to attract and ensure strong long-term commitment of young generation to Christian democratic and center-right parties in the South Eastern Europe. This is to be achieved by a blend of education on specific theoretical concepts and policy areas as well as practical skills trainings essential for public careers.
The focus during the module on challenges in the economic and social life, which is to be held in Belgrade between 18-22 August, 2021, will be placed on the current European economic and social issues; conceptual tools will be offered for approaching problems in the field of economic policy making on the national level, cooperation with international financial organizations, the causes, consequences and viable solutions of the ongoing crises, civil society building, the reform of education and welfare systems, as well as social inclusion through center-right value-based perspective.
