As in previous years, we wish to use the annual gathering at the beginning of the new academic year to introduce our new scholars to the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.
On the occasion we would like to provide some background information about the activities of German political foundations in general and KAS in particular to our new scholars and outline the scholarship programme for the year 2019. Also the KAS Media Programme Sub-Sahara Africa, based at KAS office in Johannesburg will be introduced to the new scholars.
Furthermore, Elizabeth Sidiropoulos and Neuma Grobbelaar will give insight into the Relationship between KAS and SAIIA and background on the KAS/SAIIA scholarship programme.
