Details

As in the previous years, the Welcoming Breakfast was taken as an opportunity to introduce the new scholars to the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and also to strengthen the bonds together.

In South Africa, the KAS has been active since the 1980s focusing on strengthening the democratic development together with local partners – among which is the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) one of the closest partners. The KAS/SAIIA Scholarship programme is one of the proudest partnerships, which was established 15 years ago. It created a great and valuable network, which has thrived over all those years.

The Youth is the future and they can be the agents of change. Therefore, the aim of the scholar programme is to support motivated and enthusiastic young persons and to create a network, which aims at connecting people and facilitating mutual exchange of expertise and support each other.
