This gathering brought together thought leaders and development practitioners to address South Africa’s most urgent challenges—from the energy crisis and safety concerns to the complexities of political coalitions. It was a rare opportunity to engage with groundbreaking ideas, build new partnerships, and connect with a diverse range of stakeholders to drive meaningful change.
The event featured a keynote panel discussing the Just Energy Transition, four interactive ThoughtLabs focusing on coalitions, mobility, economy, and safety, and a networking session aimed at building partnerships. The event successfully brought together thought leaders and practitioners from various sectors, including government, business, academia, and civil society, (across gender and age) to collaboratively generate new ideas and solutions.
