Details
On August 13th 2011 the 50th anniversary of the wall’s construction had been commemorated. On the occasion of these two important dates the KAS Tanzania in cooperation with the German Tanzanian Society (GTS) will host an event on the topic “Old and New Walls in Germany and Tanzania”. The guests, direct witnesses to the wall as well as representatives of the Tanzanian civil society are invited to not only discuss concrete walls but to also uncover invisible walls in Tanzania. Approaches on how to dismantle them will be established.
