The program will focus on the opportunities of an international social market economy and possible ways of its implementation in Africa, especially Tanzania. Being at the same time deputy chairman of the parliamentarian group for Eastern Africa, Dr. Brauksiepe will additionally catch up on the recent challenges faced by the East African Community (EAC) in conducting the East African integration processes. In the light of the proposed monetary union for East Africa, the member states of the EAC are particularly interested in the current monetary crisis in the eurozone.
