Details
The objective of the training is to prepare the new elected BAWACHA leadership for the upcoming tasks. Stable and transparent structures as well as motivated and well informed leaders are crucial for every democratic political party. BAWACHA and KAS share the conviction that a party only makes a meaningful contribution to democracy if the leadership works with respect to the principles of democracy and good governance at all levels.
The training in Dodoma is part of the permanent and long-term cooperation of KAS with her political partner party CHADEMA. This cooperation exclusively focuses on leadership trainings, capacity building and the support of the democratic debate on political programs within the party. As other German Political Foundations, KAS does not provide financial support towards its political partner party. German laws and regulations do not allow financial support of political activities (campaigns, public rallies etc.) through the political foundations anyway, nor in Germany neither in its international partner countries.
Participation requires a personal invitation.
