Workshop
Details
JUWAQUTA, the associaton of tanzanian Qu´an Teachers, and the Dar es Salaam office of Konrad Adenauer Foundation organized a one day workshop to improve the leadership capacity of the JUWAQUTA leaders in the Dar es Salaam region. The workshop targeted to help the Qur’an Teachers to know and understand their responsibilities and roles in the community, their constitution and also the importance of open communication among themselves and their organization as a whole. The association plays a vital role in the interfaith dialogue between muslim and christian communities in Tanzania and is an important player in disseminating tolerance and democratic values among young muslim adults. The Konrad Adenauer Foundation therefore supports the efforts of JUWAQUTA to strengthen their organization.
