The second day was all about applying the theory discussed on day one. Paula Fray interviewed each participant in front of a running camera and discussed what went well and which points needed improvement. For many of the participants it was there first experience in front of a TV camera.
At the end John Mrema, Director for parliamentary affairs and local politics of CHADEMA, thanked KAS for there valuable support to strengthen CHADEMAS media competences.
The skills they acquired during the seminar were very useful, especially for a young and emerging opposition party, to communicate there political agenda in an effective way.
The workshop was part of “E-lection Bridge”, a component of KAS Media Programme Sub-Sahara Africa. Due to high interest and positive feedback, KAS Tanzania and the Media Programme Sub-Sahara Africa will continue their joint activities in the field of media work.
