According to the World Economic Forum over half the world’s total GDP, around US$ 44 trillion, is moderately or highly dependent on nature and its services.
In collaboration with its partners and with the support of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (Thailand Office), Bangkok Tribune Online News Agency has come up with a monthly forum on issues of importance, under the project, “Dialogue Forum”.
Since the Global Strategic Plan on Biodiversity 2010-2020 as well as the Aichi Biodiversity Targets came to an end last year, the world community is now working on a new global framework, strategies and goals for countries to adopt amid the rising challenges of rapid biodiversity loss - with one million species being at stake in the next decades.
