Workshop
Details
The first half of 2007 is a critical period for the drafting of the new constitution of Thailand, which is gathering pace and receives much attention from the public, both in Thailand and overseas.
During the hearing process from March and April 2007, IPPS is organising a series of seminars and workshops for university students to access to information about the charter draft. The main objective is to promote public participation in the drafting process of the new constitution, a significant part of the hard political transformation. The activities also aim at promoting an atmosphere of freedom of student society in Thailand to lead their voice of opinion to the public. Participants are representatives from student councils of universities in the North, Northeast and South of Thailand.
The seminar and workshop series takes place in three provinces: Ubonratchathani (16 March 2007, Ubonratchathani Rajabhat University), Surathani (23 March 2007, Diamond Plaza Hotel) and Chiangmai (15 April 2007, Vista Hotel).
