This workshop strongly emphasized the significance of regional cooperation, especially within the broader Black Sea Region. It offered a unique platform for participants to explore the nuances of the sustainable blue economy, along with the challenges and opportunities inherent in regional collaboration. The event aimed to deepen understanding in the Black Sea area, particularly among young diplomats, who were encouraged to see themselves as future foreign policy decision-makers. This underscored the workshop's potential to shape the future of diplomatic efforts within the BSEC Member States.
The workshop served as a valuable networking platform, bringing together representatives from KAS, BSEC PERMIS, senior officials, experts from the Black Sea region and beyond, as well as participants from UN Tourism, Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria and Türkiye and academia. Their insights enriched the discourse and facilitated the exchange of ideas, laying the groundwork for collaborative initiatives.
