This program provides a unique opportunity to deepen knowledge in the field of migration and acquire relevant skills. The aim of the program is to raise awareness among native and migrant youth about various aspects of migration, impart new knowledge to them, and strengthen their competencies. Non-formal learning methods are utilized in this training course.

 

Program Structure and Content

Participants will have the opportunity to benefit from lectures by renowned scholars and actively engage in questioning. The program will be conducted in a hybrid format: two days online and two days in person.

  • Online Sessions: May 23-24, 2024
  • In-Person Events: May 25-26, 2024

  2. Digital Remembrance of Migration to Europe - Speaker: Gökhan Duman, DiasporaTürk
  3. Migration Psychology - Speaker: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslıhan Nişancı, Marmara University
  4. Migration and International Students - Speaker: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nazife Karadağ, Adıyaman University

 

These program points offer a diverse perspective on various aspects of migration policy, from legal issues to social and psychological considerations.

 

The in-person program offers an engaging selection of program points:

  1. Migration Journey: A Suitcase Full of Stories and Experiences.
  2. Migration and Rights-Based Social Cohesion: An Analysis and Perspective.
  3. A Step Forward: Combating Social Inequalities through Migration
  4. Migration and Borders: The Question of Border Crossing / Outdoor Activity
  5. Misconceptions and Realities of Migration Policy
  6. Workshop: "The Futures We Want"

 

This diverse program offers a rich opportunity to examine and discuss migration from various perspectives.

 

Participation and Certificate

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a participation certificate. The program is limited to 30 participants and is open to individuals aged 18-40 residing in Adıyaman.
