The workshops are designed offer a platform for civil society actors and councillors from selected districts to meet, network, and exchange ideas on good governance and accountability promotion.

Details

Taking place in the same venue there will be opportunities for joint sessions between the political leaders (councillors) and the civil society representatives. Participants in both workshops will be drawn from the eleven districts where the EU supported project is being implemented by KAS and local partner Action for Development (ACFODE). The districts are: Arua, Lira, and Pader in Northern Uganda; Jinja, Palisa, and Soroti in the east; Kabale, Mbarara, and Kisoro in the west; and Masaka and Kiboga in Central Uganda.
