Details
The Uganda Media Development Foundation (UMDF) in cooperation with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) is implementing a project on “Journalists as Bearers and Promoters of Human Rights”, with funding from the German International Cooperation (GIZ). Part of the project is a series of trainings and public dialogues at the local level across the country.
The dialogue will bring together journalists, local civil society representatives and leaders in politics and administration in order to allow for an open interaction and to trigger a debate on press freedom and related issues at the local level.
