Details
The public dialogue will bring together assessors, trained councillors, journalists and CSO representatives, as well as major stakeholders from the districts of Masaka, Mbarara and Kasese. The dialogue aims at discussing the results of the assessment of the state of political pluralism and democracy in the districts. The local assessment teams will present the findings of the assessment fieldwork, including the index score. This will be followed by an open debate about observed shortcomings and challenges as well as possible best practices and recommendations for the future. In addition, the results of the assessment will be presented and discussed in radio talkshows in the three districts.
