Details
During the public discussion, the key conclusions of the UCEP's analytical study "The institutional model of EU accession negotiation: lessons for Ukraine" will be presented. Although the accession to the EU of candidate countries took place at different times (and continues now for some candidate countries), and the negotiating structures were built based on the national specifics of the public administration system. From their experience we can draw a number of key conclusions that will be useful for understanding the construction of key elements of the negotiation process and avoiding critical mistakes that accompany it.
The study contains recommendations aimed at strengthening the institutional negotiating structure, including ones for public administration reform that are necessary for the stable work of the Ukrainian negotiating team.
Some of the best foreign experts with extensive experience in negotiating with the EU and engaging civil society in the negotiation process have been invited to the event.
