Details
At the conference, the security situation in the region of Eastern Europe, factors of its destabilization and ways of possible stabilization, the role of regional and international actors and international organizations, the place and formats of Ukraine's involvement into regional security will be discussed.
A program will be concentrated on the following issues:
- Regional security in Eastern Europe after 2014
- Approaches to security issues of the key regional players
- Possible formats of the regional security in Eastern Europe
- Illegal migration in Eastern Europe and Ukraine
- Ukraine in new regional security formats.
- Relations of Ukraine with the countries of the region in the security sphere
- A new level of NATO-Ukraine cooperation as a factor in strengthening regional security
- Ukraine as a factor of deterrence of the Russian aggression
Representatives of the European and Ukrainian leading think-tanks, missions of the international organizations in Ukraine (first of all – the EU, NATO, OSCE, UN), embassies of foreign states, Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Government, National Security Council of Ukraine, scientific and civil society organizations, and media are expected to participate in the discussion.
Working languages of the event are Ukrainian and English.
