From June 19 to June 23, 2016 the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung again extends its annual invitation to the Transatlantic Conference at the educational center Villa "La Collina" in the Italian community of Cadenabbia.
For 4 consecutive years, political, business and civil society experts have been invited to convene in Cadenabbia for the annual exchange of views on current challenges in world politics. As in previous years, KAS foreign offices in Washington D.C. and Brussels succeeded in assembling numerous high-profile experts from both sides of the Atlantic, who will gather under the motto “Global Crisis and Opportunity: Transatlantic responses to Innovation and Transformation”.
The experts will reflect on current issues of transatlantic politics corresponding to one of three comprehensive topics and subsequently discuss them in depth in the context of several panel discussions. In addition to the current US presidential elections and their potential consequences for the United States and Europe, the conflicts in the Middle East, the European refugee crisis and innovation, technology and trade will feature on the agenda.
