While COVID-19 had serious impacts on the global economy, Vietnam’s economic growth in Q4/2020 reached 4.48% (yoy). In 2020, the country had 134,900 newly registered enterprises, with a total registered capital
of more than 2,235.6 trillion VND and 1,043 thousand registered employees, recording a
decrease of 2.3% in the number of enterprises, an increase of 29.2% in registered capital, and a decline of 16.9% in the number of employees, compared to 2019.
