We as KAS-REMENA, in partnership with the Policy Center for the New South, had the pleasure of bringing together our Mediterranean Energy Experts Circle from the wider Mediterranean region for the third meeting, this time on the topic of " The Mediterranean energy landscape amid global and regional geopolitical dynamics”. The workshop took place from September 18th to 20th, 2024, at picturesque Villa La Collina in Cadenabbia, Italy.

The event provided an opportunity for in-depth discussions on geopolitical developments in the Mediterranean region and beyond, and how they influence the potentials and challenges for the energy transition as well as cooperation around energy in the Mediterranean. By fostering a better understanding of these complexities, the meeting offered an opportunity to work towards developing and proposing more realistic and pragmatic approaches for the energy transition and successful regional cooperation in the Mediterranean.
