An analytical approach of the Muslim Brotherhood in Europe should differentiate between a core, several spawns, and organisations influenced by the Brotherhood. The majority of these organisations are independent junior members of a global family rather than branches of Middle Eastern mother organizations. They should acknowledge these ties to the global Brotherhood network in order to dispel accusations of duplicity and opaqueness.
