Advanced space and satellite programs have a high symbolic importance for modern technology and are considered indicators of a country's level of scientific progress. According to the Vietnam Ministry of Defense National Defense Report 2019, the space dimension is an important area in international relations as well as military affairs and also offers significant economic potential. Against this background, Vietnam has increasingly turned to space and satellite technology in the recent past. Vietnam has great potential in the space and satellite domain, and future decisions will be indicative.
