Press Coverage on Regional Constitutional Courts Conference - "Constitutional Judiciary in Theory and Practice"

An overview over the media coverage in reaction to the Constitutional Courts Conference (Serbian/German)

The jointly with the Serbian Constitutional Court organized first Constitutional Court Judges Conference by the RSP SOE on the topic "Constitutional Jurisdiction in Theory and Practice" evoked a large press coverage. Across the country print media and tv stations reported from the conference, especially the opening ceremony. The conference took place in Belgrade October 2009 and was a great success. The key-speech was delivered by Prof. Dr. Papier, president of the German Constitutional Court. The overview on the press reviews is available in German and Serbian.

NENADIĆ RAZGOVARALA SA PREDSEDNIKOM USTAVNOG SUDA NEMAČKE

Predsednici ustavnih sudova Srbije i Nemačke, Bosa Nenadić i Hans Jirgen Papir, razgovarali su večeras u beogradu o zaštiti ljudskih prava kroz instituciju ustavne žalbe građana.

Na konferenciji za novinare posle sastanka, Nenadić je rekla da je Ustavni sud Srbije rešio sve ustavne žalbe iz 2006. i najveći deo iz 2007. godine, a da su sada "prioritet" ustavne žalbe iz prvog dela 2008. godine.

"Iskustva i predlozi Ustavnog suda Nemačke su za nas dragoceni", rekla je Nenadić i podsetila da institucija ustavne žalbe u Nemačkoj postoji 60 godina. Nenadić je rekla da će se o instituciji ustavne žalbe razgovarati i sutra na konferenciji u Beogradu

pod nazivom "Ustavni sud u teoriji i praksi", koja se organizuje povodom 60 godina od donošenja Ustava Savezne Republike Nemačke.

Predsednik Ustavnog suda Nemačke je rekao da je taj sud spreman da pruži pomoć kolegama iz Ustavnog suda Srbije u vezi sa radom suda i pitanjem ustavne žalbe.

Jirgen Papir je naveo da se Ustavnom sudu Nemačke godišnje uputi 6.000 ustavnih žalbi građana, kao i da se 70 odsto tih žalbi reši u roku od godinu dana.

Predsednik nemačkog Ustavnog suda je naveo da se 20 odsto žalbi reši u roku od dve godine, a preostalih 10 odsto u roku od tri do pet godina.

Sutrašnju dvodnevnu konferenciju u Beogradu "Ustavni sud u teoriji i praksi" organizuju Ustavni sud Srbije i fondacija "Konrad Adenauer" povodom 60 godina od donošenja Ustava Nemačke.
