The dialogue programme aims at giving selected women who are actively influencing political processes in decision-making positions in Asia the opportunity to discuss and exchange common challenges and difficulties but also successes on an eye-to-eye level with European women in decision-making positions in hard policy areas. The international dialogue among successful women active in hard policy areas will be highly enriching for both, the European as well as the Asian participants as it will provide inspiration and encouragement to address and overcome existing barriers and it will broaden their insight into different possibilities of political engagement.
